Diary post (Term 1 Week 10) (pixel art)

Since the 1st of April, I have done pixel art I can even do at home.
I needed to create a spreadsheet and resize its columns to about the same size as a square.
When I go to Google Images and search for pixel art, I need to locate the pixels carefully that resemble the sprite.
I have shared this spreadsheet with about 42 people, including my cousins, who I shared the spreadsheet with first.
Teryn held the first comment and approved this spreadsheet.
I held the second comment which tells you about the sprites I added.
Quinn held the third comment which was a reply to me and a request to do a Sonic the Hedgehog sprite which I have paused, even though Teryn had the original comment.
If the spreadsheet is shared with you, you can comment on the spreadsheet but you cannot edit unless you ask permission.
We are doing pixel art on a spreadsheet in Room 20 due to the similarity of the grid portraits and the similarity of doing pixel art on a bitmap painting program, such as Microsoft Paint.
I think pixel art would be inspiring for teachers.
We will be making blog backgrounds using pixel art.

This Year: Basic Facts Test Results

Term 1 Week 7

Cryptarithms

A cryptarithm is a type of mathematical puzzle in which most if not all digits in a mathematical expression, such as a sum, are substituted by letters or other symbols.

In a typical puzzle, there is a one-to-one correspondence between the numbers and letters or symbols replacing them.

I enjoy the easy and medium ones.
For example, 5 + 5 + 5 = 15,  based on a + a + a = ba and 9aa + aa + aa = bac.

Writing Explanation - Raptors

Reflection
I was learning to write an explanation to explain about the book Birds of Prey, a book about raptors. I found using technical words easy to do but I found the conclusion tricky because I wasn't sure how to do the conclusion. I found putting it in order a little easy. Extraneous facts weren't necessary for my explanation. Next try I will try not to add extraneous things.
If I didn't like this subject it would be a bit harder to do.

Making Connections The Dream Guitar

Reflection
I find it difficult to write this reflection because it is too complex for me.  I find it difficult to think about what is happening to them and what is happening to me at one time.

Peer Mediator Video

reflection:
I was learning to solve a problem a peer mediator sees.
I found it good to be Person 1 of the problem, but better to be the mediator.
I learned that mediators help me with problems.

Statistical Inquiry Cycle

Analysing my Graph

  • Most abundant month: December (7)

  • Scarcest months: March, May, July, August, September, October (1)
  • Nobody months: January, April, June
Reflection
I was learning how to use the statistical inquiry cycle.
I had to ask a question or think of a question.
Then I had to make a Google Forms document to collect information.
Then I had to make a graph from the results.
Finally I had to analyse data.
I found it easy to do this because I had created the form.
